Official Incubation by KIT's Innovation and Research Foundation
On 17 June 2026, DESCAM was officially incubated by KIT's Innovation and Research Foundation (IRF), Kolhapur.
This achievement represents the culmination of nearly two years of continuous learning, product development, validation, and perseverance. The incubation serves as recognition of our vision and provides a strong foundation for accelerating innovation in cybersecurity and scam prevention.
Recognition at Udyamotsav 2025
DESCAM was proudly showcased at Udyamotsav 2025, an innovation and entrepreneurship platform organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE.
The event provided an opportunity to present our vision, engage with innovation leaders, mentors, investors, and industry experts, while receiving valuable insights that helped shape our growth strategy.
A key highlight of the event was presenting DESCAM to Mr. Umesh Rathod, Innovation Manager – Western Region, Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell. Winner – Startup Expo 2025
DESCAM Cybersecurity LLP secured 1st Prize at Startup Expo 2025, organized by St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur.
The competition brought together innovative startup ideas and emerging entrepreneurs, providing a platform to showcase impactful solutions before an esteemed panel of evaluators. DESCAM presented its vision of building advanced cybersecurity and scam prevention technologies designed to create a safer digital ecosystem.
Our solution was evaluated by distinguished jury members associated with the IIM Innovation Foundation (IIM InFed), who assessed the innovation, market potential, scalability, and societal impact of participating startups.

AIR 13 at Atharv Ranbhoomi B-Plan Competition, IIM Indore
DESCAM secured All India Rank (AIR) 13 at the prestigious Atharv Ranbhoomi Avant Grade B-Plan Pitching Competition hosted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore in November 2024.
The competition brought together promising startups and innovative entrepreneurs from across the country, providing a platform to present business ideas, validate market potential, and engage with industry experts and startup ecosystem leaders.

This partnership demonstrates growing confidence in our technology and our ability to deliver practical cybersecurity solutions that protect students, faculty, and organizations from emerging digital threats.
Cybersecurity Awareness & Innovation Workshop
On 28 February 2026, DESCAM Cybersecurity LLP conducted a cybersecurity awareness and innovation workshop titled "Exploring Virtual Security" for students of the Industrial IoT Department at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur.
The session focused on cybersecurity entrepreneurship, digital safety, cyber threat awareness, and emerging opportunities in the cybersecurity domain. Students were introduced to practical concepts including virtual machines, operating system images, phishing attacks, HTTPS security, and real-world cyber risk scenarios.
As part of the workshop, the DESCAM team showcased live cybersecurity demonstrations using DESCAM VSR, providing students with hands-on exposure to attack simulations and the importance of proactive cyber defense strategies. The session concluded with an interactive cybersecurity quiz that encouraged student participation and knowledge sharing.
This initiative reflects DESCAM's commitment to promoting cybersecurity awareness, fostering innovation, and empowering the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and entrepreneurs.
